So it all started with an old west style gun fight as Matt defended the honor of Hilary against the gang The Peaky Blinders....okay none of that is true although they do love to watch the show Peaky Blinders.

Chapter one: The Missed Opportunity

It all started in the high school halls of both Shepton and Plano West where they both attended high school. Although Matt knew of Hilary and was quite taken back by her beauty they never talked or spent time together. High school came and went and they both went their separate ways Matt to the University of Arkansas and then a stop off in New Mexico, and Hilary to the Boston Conservatory and then on to a Life of theater in New York.

....Fast Forward 7 Years....

Chapter Two: Who knew Facebook Was Good For Something

Sitting at his friends house in New Mexico Matt was surfing Facebook and came across a post by Hilary advertising voice lessons in Plano, TX. Now Matt was unaware that Hilary had been back in Texas for 3 years and thought this recent move was the perfect opportunity to try and reach out to the girl he never had the confidence to reach out to in high school. They began talking back and forth for a few days ultimately ending in Matt asking Hilary out on their first date to HG Supply Company on 7/17/2017. *side note: Hilary pretended to know who Matt was for the first few days of them talking when in reality she had no idea until she saw a picture of Him in High School. To be fair he does not really look the same.

Chapter Three: The Developing Years

The next few years took Matt and Hilary on a whirlwind adventure involving almost every major event that a couple can go through. This stage could take pages and pages to write so we will provide the cliff notes here but the happy couple would love to tell you all more of their story.

1. Matt got a job at Google and moved to Austin

2. The next 4 months were spent with trips back and forth (mostly Hilary)

3. Hilary moves to Austin

4. Their relationship grows as they explore living together and away from family

5. They learn of the blessing that was Hilary being pregnant

Now right here their is a pretty key step that needs a longer story than one line. Right around this time Matt has an engagement ring in hand and is a few months into planning a proposal that involves surprising Hilary in New York and being super romantic. Well Hilary decides to cancel her trip to New York throwing Matt's plan for a whirl wind. Back up plans start being thought up and it dawns on Matt that a proposal should be unique to the couple and nothing was more "them" than the Christmas season and holiday onesies. So on 12/04/2018 in their apartment in Austin Matt decided to propose while they were wearing onesies and decorating the Christmas tree...AWWWWWW...Okay now back to the cliff notes.

6. Matt gets a job at Amazon that allows them to move back to Dallas and be near family

7. SOOOOO MUCH TROUBLE FINDING A DOCTOR!

8. They move to Dallas and buy a house in Allen

9. Sterling is born.
