Our love story began long before we even realized it. Matt and I have known each other for what feels like a lifetime. Our families were intertwined, our brothers grew up playing t-ball together, and yet, it took us years to see what was right in front of us...

It's true what they say: when you stop looking for love, it finds you! After years of secret crushes a family BBQ helped us break the ice. We started talking, hanging out, and taking a chance on each other. And that chance turned into something much more than we could have ever imagined. Our first date wasn't really a first date at all. It was more like two friends finally seeing each other in a new light. We quickly realized how much we had in common and how perfectly our personalities meshed together (our parents were right all along, lol)!

Like any great love story, we faced our challenges. Distance tested us when I (Claire) went away to college, but it only made us stronger. We traveled back and forth, visiting each other and sustaining our love through the miles between us. Distance truly does make the heart grow fonder!

And then, on a chilly evening in Door County, Matt asked me to be his forever. Surrounded by our closest friends and family, he got down on one knee at Anderson's Dock and asked me to marry him. It was a moment we will cherish forever.

As we look to the future, our hopes and dreams are simple yet profound. We want to travel the world, grow old together in love, and seize every moment life has to offer. Our wedding day is just the beginning of a lifetime of adventures together.
