The Hotel Aqua Mar is quaint - very Pearl-eque. It's mid-century styled, recently renovated and clean, but it is small and there is no pool. Also, it is only a block or so down the street from The Pearl!

For the ultimate economical guest! This motel is walking distance, super old school, and the best rate around by 50% in some cases. Just know, you get what you pay for.

This is the nicest, nearby hotel. We were unable to secure an official room block rate due to occupancy - they are filling up fast so don't delay in making your reservations. It is walking distance, though not necessarily in heels.
