Praise is Power

Hello and welcome to our love story! We are Matthew &amp; Alexis, and we're excited to share the beautiful journey that has brought us together, guided by faith, friendship, and love. Our journey began in the sanctuary of our beloved church. It started out as a simple conversation regarding school. Little did we know, a divine plan was unfolding, leading us to one another. In the midst of our friendship, love began to bloom in our hearts. We found solace in each other's presence, comfort in each other's prayers, and joy in the shared journey of growing closer to God and to one another. Our relationship was rooted in faith, anchored by trust, and fueled by a love that was both pure and profound. Now 3 years later, as we prepare to exchange vows and embark on the sacred journey of marriage, we are filled with gratitude for the love and support of our families, loved ones, pastors who have walked alongside us every step of the way. If it had not been truly for the mercies of God, we both would not be able to enjoy this season of favor! Together, we look forward to building a life centered on Christ, love, and service to others, guided by the teachings of Christ and the example of His unconditional love. Thank you for being a part of our love story. We are truly blessed to have such a strong foundation of faith and friendship as we begin this new chapter together.

 Hi I'm Sandra, and where do I even begin when it comes to Alexis? She's not just a friend; she's family. From the very beginning, Alexis has been the kind of friend who makes my tears her own. We've walked through life side by side, experiencing every twist and turn together. The good times have been sweeter because she's been there to share them, and the tough times have been more bearable because she's held my hand through them all.
We've laughed until our stomachs hurt, cried until we had no tears left, celebrated victories, and leaned on each other through losses. Throughout my life’s journey, she's been a constant source of love, support, and understanding.
Our bond goes beyond friendship, she’s my sister from another mother….LITERALLY.

I met Matthew a few years ago and he’s been an amazing brother since.
As their wedding day approaches, my heart overflows with excitement and joy for them. I can't wait to see them embark on this beautiful journey together. 

So here's to Alexis and Matthew, to love, laughter, and a lifetime of happiness ahead!

I've known Matthew all my life, as we grew up together. We lived just around the corner from each other, and our mothers were best friends. We also somehow ended up at the same daycare, elementary, middle school, and later on attended the same college. We were definitely the duo! I reminisce about the days we were both in the band; I played the Alto saxophone and Matthew played the clarinet (I bet most of you had no idea)! Surprisingly, at the time, he was a far better musician than I was. I guess music wasn’t enough for us, so we thought wrestling was the answer and joined the wrestling team. I’ll save some of those stories for another time. 

Our journey together would be impossible to encapsulate in this short blurb! However, beyond the youthful exuberance and spirited pursuits lies a deeper narrative of growth and transformation. Witnessing Matthew evolve from our carefree days of boyhood into a man of unwavering integrity, faith, and responsibility has been both a privilege and an inspiration. His journey speaks volumes of resilience, humility, and the timeless values that define true character.

To stand by Matthew's side as his best man is not merely an honor, but a profound testament to the brotherly bond we share. As Matthew begins his journey with Alexis, I pray for God’s abundant blessings, and a love that will never dim!

My Name is Michaelah and I have known Alexis since kindergarten! To know Alexis is truly to love her! Come what may, it’s impossible for me to be around her and be upset for too long. Since I can remember Alexis has been my laughter buddy by force. Even in our elementary school years, the Hand of God has evidently existed in Alexis’ life! Our friendship has truly blessed my life and is  evidence that we serve an intentional God because I can honestly say that the seeds that she has planted in my life from a young age, even when I didn’t know Christ, are speaking in my life now. To see how far God has brought her, is literally marvelous in my eyes! I am a witness to how God can truly beautify your life when you surrender it all to Him. To witness Alexis walk down the aisle to her Kingdom man Matthew, lets me know that this can only be the doing of the Lord! If you told us that this would be our lives, back in the 5th grade, we would not have imagined or even comprehended. But God is faithful! I cant wait to celebrate my sister for life and her soon to be husband, Matthew. I cant see her with anyone else! I pray that their Kingdom marriage will make Heaven proud and darkness shake!
