Matt and Savannah's story starts with Furman University. The couple became friends after they met in the fall of their Sophomore year.

It wasn't until the couple's senior year that their friendship grew into something more.

As the months ticked by, the couple grew closer and things got more serious.

Graduation from Furman University came and went, and the couple was still together. Matt landed a job in Charlotte, and Savannah was hired by a company in Greenville.

In 2018, Savannah decided to pursue a Masters in HR, and with that moved to Columbia, SC. Matt was still living and working in Charlotte, NC. Despite the distance, the couple continued to grow closer.

Savannah completed her MHR in 2019 and was hired by a company in Charlotte. The couple was thrilled to finally be in the same city!

Matt and Sav began to thrive as a couple in Charlotte. The couple had an apartment in Southend they loved, a great group of friends, and they were looking forward to the next chapter of their lives. (And, they were definitely not thinking about getting a dog).

Then COVID hit, and they immediately (all be it inadvertently) adopted a dog.

With COVID in full swing, both Matt & Sav working from home, and their new dog all crammed into a 1 bedroom apartment, they bought their first home.

The couple took advantage of working from home, and travelled up and down the east coast to visit friends and family.

In May of 2022, after 7+ years together, Matt proposed to Savannah. She said yes!

Matt and Sav settled on The Graylyn Estate for their wedding!
