Matthew and Christina matched on Facebook dating in September of 2022. Matthew saw in her dating profile that she was a Swiftie. He then decided to start the conversation with a Taylor Swift lyric from the song, "How You Get the Girl". Matthew did indeed "get the girl" as they went on their first date to a little Italian restaurant called Casa Mia's on September 11th, 2022. They officially became a couple on September 16th, 2022.

During the early stages of their relationship, Matthew and Christina would meet every Wednesday in Hunt Valley Maryland (their halfway meeting point) for a date night, which they would call "WednesDATES". They would typically go to their favorite restaurant The Greene Turtle for dinner and Rita's Italian Ice for dessert.

Over the year and a half they have been together, they have enjoyed countless adventures, including road trips through Maryland, Ohio and Pennsylvania, as well as vacations to Florida and Las Vegas. They also enjoy many fun activities, such as going to the Baltimore Aquarium, Concerts (most notably The Eras Tour) and Orioles games.

Matthew and Christina got engaged on April 14th, 2024 on the campus Millersville University, where Christina attended college.

They are now excited to start the rest of their lives together as husband and wife on July 5th, 2025.
