How we met:

Emma's POV: At a Kaleo concert in 2022, Emma found herself not being able to stop thinking about the cute guy who smiled at her. Her efforts to move closer in the hopes of chatting after the show were foiled when he ran out of the venue as soon as the band played their last note. However, she was saved by social media when she recognized his face in somebody else’s Instagram post which is when she discovered they both went to Calvin University. She decided to send him a message and to her surprise, he asked her out for coffee. Matt and Emma spent 4 hours chatting at the coffee shop and so began their beautiful story.

Matt's POV: At a Kaleo Concert in 2022, Matt recognized the girl two people down and smiled at her. He then enjoyed the rest of the show. Wanting to avoid traffic leaving the parking structure, he left quickly after the encore. A while later he received a random follow request and DM from some girl named Emma who was the girl at the concert. She had thought that he was cute. After some chatting on Instagram, he wanted to take her out to coffee. They spent 4 hours at Squibb talking about life, adventures, and their dreams. Matt was worried that the date wasn’t going too well when Emma kept getting up to go to the bathroom. Thankfully Emma still liked Matt and the rest is history.
