We met at Staples where Matt was doing some shopping when he had a pleasant conversation with their newest employee, Miruet, who was ringing up his items. Shortly after, Matt realized he "forgot" some things and ended up returning just two days later.
Our conversations soon made their way online where we realized we had far more in common than either of us had initially thought. After lots of messaging back and forth, we had our first date at Texas Roadhouse.
After our first date, we immediately began planning to see each other again soon. We were soon spending time together whenever we could, doing things like zombie paintball, trying Mexican ice cream, and even going to Miruet's family reunion in Pennsylvania.
This having been the healthiest, most loving, and most supportive relationship either of us had ever had, the decision to get married came naturally as the next step in our journey together. In fact, it was so natural that Matt's proposal to Miruet came as no surprise to her, just as her immediate answer of "yes" in response came as no surprise to him.
So now we invite our family and friends to celebrate this union with us this June at the historic General Morgan Inn before we depart for a honeymoon in Japan.
