This will include wedding day details, special events, and moments we hope to enjoy together.Traveling to RomeBefore the cruise begins, we plan to travel to Rome a few days early to soak in the magic, history, and romance of the city. For those who would like to join us, there will be an optional group hotel stay where we can spend time together before embarking on the cruise. Participation in this portion is completely optional—feel free to arrive in your own way and on your own schedule.After the CruiseOnce the cruise ends, the adventure doesn’t have to stop. You’re welcome to head home or take advantage of being in Europe by extending your trip and exploring more destinations at your own pace.A Note From Our HeartsWe know that a destination wedding is a big commitment—time, travel, and planning are not always easy. Our story began in the most unexpected way—two seasoned hearts, both divorced, both raising beautiful children, and both convinced we were only ready for something casual. But destiny had something far more magical in store for us.We matched on a dating app partly because we shared one rare and beautiful trait: we were both wanderers at heart. At the time, Taty had already explored 25 countries, and Matt had seen 20. Travel was the spark that first drew us toward each other—two adventurers who didn’t yet realize their greatest journey was about to begin. Together, we’ve now traveled to 30 countries side by side, collecting memories in every corner of the world. Individually, we’ve each reached 55 countries, but our favorite stamps will always be the ones we earned together.At first, we assumed our connection would remain light—just a sweet friendship sparked by shared stories and curiosity. But the more we talked, laughed, and spent time together, the more we felt it: that pull, that warmth, that unmistakable falling-in-love feeling. Soon, we missed each other constantly, and what began as something casual blossomed into something deep, steady, and truly meant to be.Blending our lives also meant blending our families. Taty brought her three children—Jero, Tiana, and Joaquin—and Matt brought his kids, Ava and Blaire. In 2020, guided by trust, love, and a little bit of brave spontaneity, we decided to move in together. We rented a big, lively house where all five kids filled every room with laughter, energy, and the beautiful chaos of becoming the Conner-Galeas family.We cherished having all the kids under one roof—it filled us with purpose, joy, and countless memories. Over time, they began growing up and stepping into their own lives, moving out one by one, and now we have our youngest, Joaquin, still at home, keeping the house warm, noisy, and full of heart.As for us, we continue dreaming big.
