Where will the wedding ceremony and reception take place?
Our ceremony and mass will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church, and our reception will take place at the Payne Corley House. Both are located within the city of Duluth. The addresses can be found on the "Home" page of our wedding website.
What time will the ceremony start? Will there be a gap between the ceremony and reception?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30pm. It will include a full mass and will last approximately one hour. Our reception will begin at 5:30pm. We recommend exploring the walkable downtown area during the in-between time (see "Things to Do" for a list of local restaurants, breweries and more) or taking a power nap so you're ready to dance the night away!
What time should I arrive to the church?
Please plan to arrive at the church by 2:15pm for our ceremony and mass.
Can I take pictures and videos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos and videos during our ceremony. We will have a professional photographer and videographer capturing our special moment, and look forward to sharing their work with you!
I haven't been to a Catholic Mass before. What should I expect?

Will you be providing transportation?
Yes! There will be a shuttle bus that will take guests from the hotel to the church, and then back to the hotel following the ceremony and mass! The reception venue is walkable from the hotel.
What is the city of Duluth like?
Duluth is a charming, walkable, suburban town in metro-Atlanta. It offers a variety of restaurants, breweries and boutiques in the downtown area where the hotel accommodations as well as our reception venue are located. We hope that you enjoy exploring this small southern town as much as we have!
Where is Duluth located in relation to the Atlanta airport?
The city of Duluth, where both our ceremony and reception will be taking place, is about 45 minutes northeast of the Atlanta airport. What is the weather in Georgia typically like in the month of September?
Typically, the average temperatures in September include highs within the 80s, and lows in the mid-sixties. Be sure to pack your warm-weather clothing!
Will there be a block of rooms reserved for the wedding weekend at a nearby hotel?

What will the wedding colors be?
The groomsmen will be wearing navy blue, and bridesmaids will be in mauve pink! We also plan to include touches of gold, ivory, white and other neutrals in our decor.
