Minneapolis (MSP) is going to be the closest major airport and is approximately two hours from the Resort. Brainerd (BRD) is the closest regional airport with tickets likely being more expensive. However, this airport is only about 30 minutes from the Resort.

For folks flying in from out of town, it is highly encouraged that you rent a car. However, there will be several people driving north from the Twin Cities area, so if you need a ride from MSP please let us know and we may be able to arrange a carpool.

There will be limited availability at the wedding location and we will let you know if we have accommodations for you. Outside of the resort, we have blocked off rooms at nearby hotels, please see below. If we do not have accommodations and you're feeling more adventurous you are welcome to pitch a tent.

You will need to bring anything you need to be comfortable. The cabins have bedding, full kitchens, and a pull out sofa. However, toiletries, towels, and hair dryer are not provided so you will have to bring these yourself. Cabins will be grouped by families and friend groups. Some cabins have rooms with twin beds so some flexibility may be required.

We have blocked rooms at Ruttgers Resort across Bay Lake. Its a 10 minute drive to Woodland Beach Resort plus they have a dock for pontoon pickup. Room prices and sizes vary but start around 170/night. They have many options from one queen room all the way up to cabins that sleep 14-16. Some options have breakfast included as well.
