Union Station was first opened in 1881 and is in the center of downtown Denver. The Crawford Hotel is right inside the station and has a great bar to grab a drink!
Larimer Square is a half mile away from Union Station. In the summer months they block off the street. There are good restaurants, shops and sometimes live music.
The RiNo neighborhood (stands for River North) in Denver is home to the best breweries and is known for its large outdoor art murals on the buildings. We would recommend starting at Los Chingones and walking down Larimer Street grabbing a beer at Our Mutual Friend Brewing Company and Ratio Beerworks.
Boulder, Colorado is 30 minutes north of Denver. There are hiking trails in Chautauqua Park. Use the All Trails App to find specific hikes. We recommend staying on "Easy" trails due to the elevation. You can also drive up Flagstaff Road right next to the park and see great views at different pull off spots on the road.
Boulder has a great downtown area called Pearl Street. There are so many restaurants, bars and stores all right there. We would recommend Avanti, My Neighbor Felix and West End Tavern.
Red Rocks Amphitheater is an iconic outdoor concert venue 20 minutes outside Denver. It is open to the public if there is not an event/concert going on. There are many hiking trails around that area as well. Use the All Trails App to find specific hikes. We recommend staying on "Easy" trails due to the elevation.
