Sarah and Matthew will be exchanging vows in a private ceremony in Scotland
We didn’t mean for our first date to last eight hours. It was supposed to be quick, but somehow we kept finding reasons not to say goodbye. One conversation turned into another, then a walk, then dinner, then laughing like we’d known each other for years.
By our second date, not wanting the date to end so quickly we made the drive to Galveston, where we were barefoot on the beach, slow dancing in the dark to Louis Armstrong playing softly from a phone speaker, the full moon lighting everything up like something out of a movie. It felt easy. Natural.
He’s the calm to my chaos, steady and patient, the one who keeps me grounded when my mind runs a hundred miles an hour. She keeps my life interesting, spontaneous, curious, always dreaming up the next adventure before I’ve even packed a bag.
Together, we chase new places, good food, late nights, and early flights. We collect memories instead of things. And somewhere between all the miles traveled and meals shared, we built a life that feels like the best kind of adventure one we get to keep choosing, every day, side by side.
