Nicholas is the brother of the Groom. They met in 2004 when Matthew went from being an only child to a big brother. Matthew has been one of his closest friends, a great mentor, and is very easy to make fun of. They still share several interests and love to hang out together playing video games, wrestling, or just goofing off.

Garrett and Matthew bumped into each other their freshman year of college and quickly formed a bond over their faith and all things nerdy. They promptly became roommates and set out to grow one another's spirituality throughout their college careers. From games to getaways to goofs, Garrett and Matthew spent the last five years taking life for all that it was gifted and turned college into an unforgettable period of growth and joy. Garrett is here not just to celebrate the union of two wonderful friends, but also to show off how incredible of a man Matthew was, is, and will be.

Ryan and Matthew met in August 2019 as randomly-assigned roommates during their freshman year at the University of Cincinnati. They again lived together for several semesters on Bishop Street, where their friendship grew stronger as they endured pesky neighbors, questionable apartment maintenance, and the occasional ant problem. Ryan and Matthew have remained close friends after graduation and enjoy spending time together playing Magic: The Gathering and trap shooting.

Jakob met Matthew through their church's mentorship program. Jakob believes God brought them together, and he has been following Matthew around ever since. Jakob thinks of Matthew like the older brother he never had.

Trinity and Alexa met in the music education program at UC. They have spent many hours together carpooling to campus, playing in wind ensemble, serving on church leadership, and having ‘study dates’ at various Cincinnati coffee shops (which might more appropriately be called ‘procrastination parties’). Alexa now lives in South Dakota where she’s a full-time mom to her daughter, Eden. Trinity drove 11 hours to be at Alexa’s wedding in Iowa and Alexa is thrilled to stand by Trinity’s side on her big day!

Trinity and Sarah met Freshman year of college at an H2O Life Group. They have been apartment-mates since Junior year and enjoy trying new restaurants and coffee shops, going to events together, playing board games and Stardew Valley, and supporting each other’s work and hobbies. Sarah is sad to be losing a great roommate but is excited for Matthew and Trinity!

Sydney and Trinity met through mutual friends and the Music Education program! Trinity has been a deeply cherished friendship for Sydney over the past few years. Trinity was one of the people to disciple her and buy her first Bible :) They have enjoyed attending many Bible study’s, coffee chat dates, board game nights, bookstores and more fun interests of theirs together! It has been a joy for Sydney to watch Trinity grow in the time she has known her, and is looking forward to being beside her on her big day ❤️
