Need to Know

Shuttle

A vehicle will be provided to shuttle guests to their accommodations if needed. Uber and Lyft rides are not available in the area. Keep in mind that the shuttle will have limited space and a limited distance that it will travel. Please reach out to the Bride and Groom if you are planning to use the shuttle service so they can have advanced notice.

Little Ones

Due to the nature of the events of the day and limited space, we request that you leave the little ones at home so you can enjoy the festivities. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

RSVP Section

We ask that you pay special attention to the RSVP and respond accordingly. There are 3 separate areas that we need head counts for; the ceremony/reception, boating excursion &amp; the evening party. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Our Wedding

From a shared passion, to true friendship, to a budding romance, to being unable to picture futures without one another, to here comes the bride...!Matthew and Paige's story started on the water so it is only fitting for the two to want to celebrate their union on the water. They were introduced by a mutual family friend (shout out to Debbie Daulton!). Though both Paige and Matthew may tell different versions of the story, ultimately the two became close friends while sharing their love for the sport of water skiing. The couple got to know one another as Matthew began skiing more frequently with Paige and her mom Debbie. Champion Lake family and friends noticed the connection between the two before both Paige and Matthew admitted it to themselves. After finally running through the phases of a relationship prior to dating, which include, but are not limited to, chatting and talking, Matthew asked the ever important question, "Sooooo are we doing this thing!?!" and there was no going back! Both Paige and Matthew have a deep love for their family, friends, dogs and the water. The future Duncan household is filled with 2 strong Type-A personalities, and a dog named Goose who is as Type-B as they come. Paige's introverted realistic personality complements Matthew's outgoing and dreamer personality to a "T". The couple love to host and look forward to seeing everyone at the all day lake affair.

The dockside is located on the mouth of the clam river where it meets Torch Lake. Take a walk down the pier before you enjoy lunch or dinner. It is always a great spot to watch the boats go by and catch the sunset.

Paddles & Pedals

Grass River Natural Area is a&nbsp;1,502 acre nature preserve&nbsp;surrounding the Grass River, located in the heart of Antrim County. Along with the beautiful views of Grass River, we also offer&nbsp;seven miles of well-maintained trails&nbsp;including 1.5 miles of boardwalk floating above northern fen and cedar wetlands. With all of these natural features, Grass River Natural Area offers visitors an outdoor, living laboratory to explore and learn. The Grass River Center is&nbsp;open year-round, offering a comfortable learning environment for public programming, school field trips, camps, and more.&nbsp;

Matthew and Paige ask for no gifts. The couple knows the expense of travel and lodging, and simply want to see all their friends and family at the wedding having a great time!
