Q + A

What is a Catholic Ceremony?

Our ceremony will be held within the traditional Catholic mass. A program will be provided to help you follow along by outlining the order of the ceremony. Eucharist will be given.

What is the Eucharist?

Catholics believe that the bread and wine given at communion is truly the Body and Blood of Christ. Please respect the sanctity of this sacrament by refraining from receiving Eucharist if you are not a practicing Catholic.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire! We ask that gentlemen please dress in suits and ties and ladies wear cocktail dresses or nice blouses and dress pants. We'd love to see you dress your best!

Are children invited?

Yes! If your invite is addressed to your family, then your children are more than welcome to attend. If you would prefer an evening out, please indicate on your RSVP that they will not be joining you.

May I take photos during the ceremony?

Due to our ceremony being held within the Catholic mass, we ask that you refrain from using phones or other devices during the ceremony. Photographers will be in attendance to capture our day! We are excited to share photos with you once we receive them.

Why is there no transportation provided to the ceremony?

Our ceremony is being held in the afternoon in Denver. It is very accessible via ride share should you not wish to rent a car. It will also be light out and is on major roads. The reception venue does not have reliable ride share to it. It will also be dark after the reception. With alcohol being offered during the reception, we wanted to remove any barriers to getting safely home. This is why we are offering transportation to and from the reception venue but not for the ceremony.
