Guest parking is available in the Forbes Garage, located across the street from the Power Center. The Ballroom is accessible from the Sklar Skywalk which is ground level with the eighth floor of Forbes garage. So parking on the eighth level is convenient.

You can collect a validation ticket at the event. The validation ticket must be inserted into the exit station prior to leaving the garage.

Overnight parking for guests is prohibited.

Handicap parking spaces are located near the elevators on each floor of the garage.

Doors to cocktail hour open at 4:45. It is a brief walk from the Chapel to the Dougherty Ballroom. In between, feel free to explore the campus, use the lounge in the student union or grab a drink nearby.

Moonlit Burgers (formerly Red Ring Bar & Grille)

Is located on Duquesne’s campus and serves beer, wine, and cocktails.

Student lounge- Duquesne University

Is inside the Student Union building and centrally located on Duquesne's campus. It is directly across the skywalk to the Dougherty Ballroom where cocktail hour and the reception are held.

** After the ceremony, the easiest way to get to Moonlit Burgers or the student lounge is by walking past the fountains located across the Duquesne Chapel and walking through or around the student union. Walking down the hill (McAnulty Dr) from the church and walking up the adjacent hill (Locust St) to access the skywalk is no fun in heels!

Feel free to use the lounge in the student union after the ceremony or walk across the skywalk to use the elevators to get to Forbes Ave., where Moonlit Burgers is located. The same elevator you take down to get to Forbes will take you back up to the reception when it is time for cocktail hour.
