We met in fire 1 during our fire ground support class. I got dizzy and ran to the bathroom to cool off I came back out and he made sure I was okay and then started helping me with some of my knots. As days passed we got closer and started to talk more. I went to his house for a fire and after that we really just clicked. I had to drop out due to family issues but he was right there to help me through it. Eventually his firehouse ended up shutting down before fire 1 was over. He still had to take interior firefighting. He ended up joining red hill with me. Chief made the joke when he came in "do you plan on moving here and marrying her?" (Look at us now! Haha) soon after that we went on our first "real" date. We went out to dinner and then to the red hill social club. He met my family and my kids who everyone loved him from the start. We didn't become official until 10.17.21 but leading up to that we had some pretty amazing memories and some good trips. We went through so much in the beginning of our relationship but it was all worth it. He graduated fire 1 and took a few other classes. 5.22.22 came around which is a year from the day we started talking and he proposed and made me the happiest girl in the world!
