Matthew and Hilary's story started on March 13, 2021 when Hilary made a spontaneous trip to Nashville with one of her best friends (and future bridesmaid!) The girls decided to book a last minute tour with the Music City Pub Crawl, and as fate would have it, they were paired with another fantastic group of friends including Matthew. Non-stop laughter and unforgettable memories ensued, and by the end of the night everyone exchanged numbers with the promise of keeping in touch.

Matthew and Hilary's paths crossed several more times over the next two years, but it wasn't until they spent a day together at Arrington Vineyards in August 2023 that sparks flew. They spent the next month talking nearly every day and realized just how aligned they were in all that they believed and wanted for their futures.

Matthew made a trip to Ohio two months later in October and that time together only cemented their feelings for one another. By the end of the visit, he told Hilary how he felt about her, and as the saying goes - the rest is history.

Hilary and Matthew spent the next 8 months living out of suitcases as they fell in love and made trips to visit one another. Their relationship deepened and brought more conviction that they were soulmates with every passing day. Matthew proposed to Hilary in June 2024 and Hilary made the permanent move to Nashville.

They are filled with so much gratitude for the deep well of peace and overwhelming joy they find within one another, and can't wait to celebrate their love with all their family and friends in October 2025!
