Is there a dress code?

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! We are requesting a cocktail attire dress code for the day and are kindly asking guests to refrain from wearing navy blue or white/cream, as that is what the wedding party will be wearing. And please no jeans! Please note the entire celebration is outdoors. The ceremony is located in the mountain at an outdoor chapel and the cocktail hour and reception are being held at a lakeside 2 story pavilion at the lodge.

Are children allowed?

As much as we'd love to invite all of the children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We are asking that guests refrain from bringing children, unless their names are specifically noted on your invitation. We hope that you understand our decision, and are still able to join us on our special day.

Can I bring a +1?

As much as we'd love to give everyone a plus one to join in on the celebration, we are asking that guests refrain from bringing a plus one unless their name is specifically noted on your invitation. We hope that you understand our decision with limited venue space, and are still able to join us on our special day.

What dinner options will be available?

We will have a chicken and a beef option offered at the buffet as well as multiple sides and a plated salad. We are also offering “children’s plates” for the littles that may want it that will be plated for them so that parents can go to the buffet! (Please message the bride or groom if you’d like this reserved for your children) There will also of course be some desserts to choose from to end the night!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We have decided to have an “unplugged ceremony”! We kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away once the ceremony begins. We will have photographers and videographers there to capture the special moment and share with everyone, but once the ceremony begins we would love to see faces— not screens. And of course there will be time after the ceremony for you to get photos at the chapel and in front of the cross!

Can I drive myself to the ceremony?

Absolutely! Although we are offering optional shuttles for all guests to use, you are of course welcome to drive yourself as well. Please note that during the drive to the chapel you will lose service and not have any at the chapel, so please plan accordingly with downloaded directions or a map provided in your welcome box. Speaking from personal experience the roads are fairly windy and can get confusing, so we are offering transportation to simplify this and let everyone relax and mingle!
