We are very excited to tie the knot exactly 10 years from the very first day we met!

It was the summer of 2014. Jena had just graduated from college and decided to spend her summer in sunny Fort Lauderdale with her parents. Although Jena had always been very close with her father Greg (Bond) & mother Marcia, she was open to meeting some new friends during her summer stay in Florida. Little did Jena know how quickly this would happen.

The very first weekend, Jena, along with her parents and some of their close friends decided to go to dinner at Kaluz Restuarant on the water. After an enjoyable dinner, they all decided to have a few more drinks at the outdoor bar. Everyone was talking and laughing, when all of a sudden, the bartender politely interrupts. He nods his head in the other direction, and explains that the guy on the other side would like to buy Jena's next drink. Surprised by this, she kindly declines this offer and continues to enjoy her conversations with her family and friends. One minute later, Marcia starts muttering, "He's coming around the bar, he's coming around!"

With a "Pardon me," Matt scoots past Greg and looks right at Jena. "I'm so sorry to interrupt your family time, but I think you are so beautiful and I would love to take you out sometime" Matt exclaims. He leaves his name and number on a napkin and walks away without a response. Unknown to Jena and her family, this took A LOT of liquid courage and some coaxing from his friends that accompanied him on the other side of the bar. After a few minutes of silence, Marcia states, " That guy's got b*lls." The very next day Jena called Matt up and they've been best friends ever since!
