Their story is one that starts a little differently then most. They met when Matthew was going through a difficult time, and Taylor was working as a Mental Health Intern. Matt was there to see a counselor, while Taylor did not know what was about to walk through the door.

They met for several weeks, before Matt sent a text to Taylor wanting to get to know her in the real world. They decided to meet for a date, and went on several more after that. Before ultimately deciding to be friends.

Something several months later continually lingered in Taylor's head, and she wanted to see Matt again. They arranged for a date at the local Mexican restaurant, to where they talked and ended the date with a kiss. It was then, that they both knew they wanted to be together.

They started dating shortly there after. Meeting each other's kids, taking several trips, and just learning about each other. They knew from then on this was a forever thing, and decided they wanted to get married. The conversations began to start and they were diving head first into blending the two families into one.

On July 30, 2024, Matt arraigned for a private table, overlooking a waterfall in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. That was where he decided to get down on one knee and propose to Taylor. Taylor was in complete shock, even asking several times if Matt was "sure" and "if this was really happening". Taylor said "YES!"

As they continue to walk in their love, faith and family, they have continued to grow together and love one another harder than the day before. And they are so excited for this day to come to be able to celebrate with their close friends and family.
