Matt and Natalie first met August of 2011 at Murray State University. They were both psychology majors and had their very first entry level psychology class together. Natalie remembers Matt walking into the large lecture hall and feeling immediately drawn to him. Matt remembers seeing Natalie at Winslow Dining Hall. They made eye contact and Natalie blushed, smiled, and looked down. Natalie would often talk about Matt with her friends, but didn’t get a chance to formally meet him until almost a year later thanks to the help of a mutual friend. Matt and Natalie developed a friendship with each other over the course of the next couple of years. After graduation in 2015, Matt moved back to St. Louis and Natalie moved to Louisville. Over time, they grew apart and did not speak with each other again until April of 2022 when Natalie informed Matt that she would be moving back to St. Louis. Matt and Natalie reconnected and the rest is history!
