We’re delighted to welcome children to our wedding celebration! If little ones need a moment to settle, we kindly ask that parents step into the gathering space nearby so everyone can enjoy the ceremony comfortably.

We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment. After the ceremony and throughout the reception, we absolutely encourage you to snap away and capture all the joy and celebration.

The dress code is cocktail attire (semi formal). Examples of cocktail apparel include skirts, blouses, slacks, dresses, suits, and dress shirts. Ties are optional.

We ask that you only bring a plus one if indicated on your wedding invitation. If you have not been given a plus one and would like to request one, please contact us as soon as possible.

Both the church and the event center are wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you will need specific accommodations or have any further questions/concerns.

The church and event center have parking lots that can accommodate all guests. The distance between the Church of the Resurrection and the Empire Event Center is 2.3 miles, or an 8 minute drive.

We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend. Our reception will take place at the Empire Event Center connected to the Best Western where we reserved our room block and where most guests will be staying, so no additional transport will be required for our nuptials. Uber and Lyft are available in the area if needed.

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors.

Our wedding reception will be buffet style with Italian chicken, beef brisket, house salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans. If you have dietary restrictions (gluten free, etc.) please contact us.

We have reserved a room block at the Best Western, which is connected to the reception venue, the Empire Event Center. Please book your stay by May 1st, 2026 to guarantee a room in our block.
