This is a fun collection of boutique wineries and microbreweries just outside of Paso. There are lunch/dinner options (Etto is amazing) as well as the location of a family friend's winery: Hubba Wines.
Avila Beach

Adorable beach town about a 30 minute drive from Paso. Lots of shops and restaurants right on the water.

Beautiful views of the ocean as you take an easy out and back hike on the bluffs. Wide trail and lots of access points to the beaches below. Great for families old and young!
Hearst Castle

This is a great walking tour of a property owned by Hearst back in the early twentieth century. Definitely get tickets early if you think this is something you want to do. Kid friendly as well.
