Our Wedding

Our amazing love story began with a hard right swipe (on a dating app) by Matt. Unfortunately the feelings were not mutual…..right away that is. Little did Matt know, he did not meet Megan’s height requirement. Apparently, you have to be a 6’5” superstar athlete to get a date with her.&nbsp;Thanks to Megan’s friend (for swiping on Matt to create a match) and after a long month of convincing, we eventually went on our first date. The evening went better than either us could have imagined. After a romantic dinner and a few cocktails, we made our way down to the local county fair. Matt sealed the deal by displaying his athletic prowess and throwing a 95 mph fastball through the catchers mitt (not really 95mph, haha). Needless to say, it was GAME OVER! From the moment we met, our chemistry and connection was undeniable. After spending more and more time together, it did not take long for both of us to realize that this was unlike any relationship we had ever been in before; this was the REAL DEAL.&nbsp;We quickly became the best of friends and passionate lovers - the ultimate dream. As time has progressed, our relationship has blossomed in so many incredible ways and we have grown so strong not only because we respect and honor one another, but because we hold significantly tight to our core values. We acknowledge and center Jesus Christ as our savior and foundation for life, love, and relationship, and we treasure the close-knit relationships we have with our amazing families. These two factors played a big role in choosing our ‘forever person’, and we quickly realized that we were placed in each others lives for a reason and purpose; and that purpose was to love each other forever. We knew early in the relationship that God had intent when he introduced the two of us; we were bound to be soulmates.&nbsp; After a year and a half into the relationship, Matt knew it was time to take the relationship to the next level and begin planning a special proposal. With the help of Matt’s sister, Rachel, and Megan’s sister, Mandy, Matt romantically proposed on the water in Laguna Beach, Ca. The proposal could not have been more perfect and it was everything we could have dreamed of! To make things even more memorable, Matt’s family came down from the Central coast to meet Megan’s family for the first time, while all along Megan’s parents had planned a special surprise engagement party. It was the most perfect ending to an even-more perfect day. It was a day we will remember for a lifetime.&nbsp;As we began brainstorming ideas of our future wedding day, it was the easiest decision choosing the perfect venue. Matt grew up on a 6,000 acre ranch on the Central Coast of California in area known as Huasna. This family-owned ranch has been in the Loomis Family for over 60 years and holds the most beautiful rolling hills, lush green oak trees and grass fields as far as the eye’s can see. Megan instantly fell in love with the beauty and charm of the ranch. This venue would not be like any other venue; this was where Matt was raised, his family had decades of memories, and the significance of this could never be matched. The Loomis Family Barn will be the perfect place for us to vow to love one another forever. This special venue, along with each and every one of YOU, is what will make this the most memorable day of our lives! We are incredibly blessed to have your amazing love and support and we cannot wait to make ever-lasting memories with all of you! We have blocked off 30 rooms at this particular hotel. A combination of two queen beds and 1 king bed rooms. The rates for the stay are as follows: Two queen beds:$169 for Friday night$215 for Saturday night One king bed:$159.00 for Friday night$197.00 for Saturday night There will be a shuttle picking people up from the hotel to the venue. The venue is approximately 15-20 minutes from the hotel

Best Western Casa Grande Inn

There is a shuttle that will transport people from the address provided above to the wedding venue. Total amount of seats available is 18. The pick up is in the CVS parking lot across the street from the Best Western Hotel. The shuttle will leave at 3pm from the CVS Parking lot and leave the wedding at 10:00pm
