Matthew grew up in Philadelphia, PA as an aspiring musician and avid sports fan (Go Birds!). He works in security as the site supervisor at Axalta Coating Systems. With his brother, he plays guitar, drums, bass, and sings in his band, The Mack Brothers.

Small town Hatfield, PA with the “Hatfield Moose,” was where Shannon spent her childhood days. She attended Delaware Valley University and studied Biology (hey, check out that venue location!). Those experiences, connections, a little bit of luck and a lot of hard work during college launched her into vet school at the University of Pennsylvania. Shannon currently works as a Veterinary Corps Officer in the US Army at Fort Bragg, NC.

Matthew and Shannon first met in Philadelphia for a sushi date right around the holidays in December 2018. Drinks were spilled, laughs were had, and the rest was history! Matthew was working in security at the Franklin Institute while Shannon was completing her first year of veterinary school. Days spent together were jam packed with adventures including trips around Philly, experiences in the Grand Canyon of PA, hikes in Acadia, and escapades in Disney World! Nothing has been easy, and life hasn’t gone the way they would have ever planned, but they wouldn’t change their adventure for the world, including Libbie!

After 5 years together, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you on July 6, 2023!
