Katelyn and Matt have been best friends for 16 years. They met in 6th grade home room playing Apples to Apples. Ever since then, Katelyn and Matt have been inseparable. They talk every day and support each other in every aspect of their lives. Katelyn and Matt have over a 1,500 snap streak.

Matthew’s protege

Rachelle and Matt met freshman year of college at a College of Education meeting. 2 years later, Rachelle and Matt reconnected and decided to be roommates. They shared many great memories living together and grew stronger in their friendship because of it. Rachelle and Matt enjoy thrifting and brunch together.

Matthew’s only friend from college and the SPAM queen

Charley and Matt met working at the daycare on the UW-Oshkosh campus. They continued their friendship after college and have gone on many trips together. Charley and Matt enjoy going camping, hiking, and exploring new places together.

Matthew’s first crush, and then he figured out he was gay

Kellie and Matt met on a weeklong teaching placement in downtown Milwaukee. Matt told Kellie that he would text her after the trip, with no intention to. Matt is so glad he decided to text her and hangout. Kellie is one of the most genuine and happy people he knows. They have been working together as Special Education teachers in Kenosha for the past year and a half. They love sharing their 45 minute car rides every day together.

Matthew’s mentor and first Chicago friend

Joy is Matt's older sister. They are 51 weeks a part, which makes them Irish twins. Matt's favorite days of the year are when they are the same age. Joy does not like these days. Growing up, Joy and Matt would pick on and get annoyed with each other like normal brother and sister. As they grew up they became closer and closer. Joy is Matt's built in best friend. He is so honored to have her by his side walking him down the aisle. They enjoy having game nights, seeing movies, and playing blackjack at the casino together.

Matt met Keith in a production of BIG FISH in Waukesha before the pandemic. They reconnected when Matt found out Keith and Matthew would be in a production of SHE LOVES ME together. Both Matt and Matthew have built their own personal friendships with Keith, which makes him the perfect person to officiate their wedding. Keith and the Matt's enjoy seeing shows together with their friends and going out for drinks.

Matt and Matthew met Noah through his wife Kellie. Matt had the honor of officiating Noah and Kellie's wedding in July of 2022. The couples have gone on many double dates.
