Kalispell, Montana, despite being the 7th largest city in the state with around 30,000 residents, has a small-town charm thanks to its welcoming community. Surrounded by three mountain ranges and a mere 33 miles from Glacier National Park.

Speaking of Glacier National Park, it's an absolute gem of Montana. With its awe-inspiring landscapes and over 700 hiking trails, it's a MUST-visit destination. Whether you're an experienced hiker or a beginner, there's a trail with breathtaking views and abundant wildlife awaiting you.

Given the choice between travel options, this is the one I would choose, despite the slightly longer distance to the wedding venue. I think being this close to Glacier makes it a no brainer.

MSO is located 50 miles from our wedding venue at Sky Ridge Ranch and is just 64 miles from the Kwataqnuk Resort & Casino in Polson.

Missoula, Montana, where vibrant college-town energy meets rugged mountain beauty, holds a special place in Sophia’s heart as it was her home for 5 years while playing basketball and going to college.

With a population of around 75,000, Missoula boasts a diverse community and a laid-back vibe. Missoula is surrounded by stunning mountain ranges and nestled along the Clark Fork River. From its bustling downtown scene to its endless recreational opportunities, Missoula has something for everyone.

It looks like you can take Uber from the airport to Polson, Mt but it is $156 one way and I’m not sure how good the odds of getting one back to the airport would be.
