Matt and Kelsey’s story began on March 18, 2024, at a poker game night. Day by day they built a relationship rooted in friendship, faith, and a whole lot of fun. Before long, they realized they had not only fallen in love, but had truly become best friends. When Kelsey moved back to Nebraska, their relationship entered a new season. Long distance wasn’t always easy, but it made one thing clear: what they had was worth it. The miles between them were filled with late-night calls, visits to look forward to, and a deep gratitude for the love they shared. Almost a year later Kelsey moved back to Colorado, and being together again felt even sweeter. On February 13, 2026, Matthew created a moment Kelsey will never forget. In a park he surprised her by writing and singing her a song then he got down on one knee. The easiest yes. When she walked through a door afterward, their closest friends and family were there to celebrate the engagement.
