June 7th 2016: Matt and Diana met at Town Spa for their first date.


Previously, they had matched on Tinder several months before and had been talking casually. Matt had been eager to go out with Diana but she had some reservations about meeting someone on the app but taking the risk to meet him paid off. It was the first and only online date she went on and the rest is history...


Matt and Diana continued to get to know each other through the summer of 2016 by going to Red Sox games, taking several evening trips to the beach and participating in recreational softball games. There was lots of ice cream, laughs, and the occasional beer and by the end of the summer, when it was time for Diana to return to Bridgewater for her senior year the two were pretty smitten.


Throughout the remainder of 2016 and into 2017, Matt and Diana discovered many common interests including a love of football and the Patriots, hiking, playing board games, country music, and adventuring to new places. Through the years since then, their love and mutual admiration for one another have continued to grow.


Diana and Matt's relationship has seen many different types of adventure. They were in attendance for game 2 of the 2018 World Series, Brady's last game in a Patriots uniform, travelled to Glacier National Park, the Grand Canyon, Acadia National Park, and many other spots all over the country.


They moved into a new apartment together in 2021 and became engaged when Matt got down on one knee at the top of Beehive Loop Trail in Acadia National Park on August 3rd 2022.


Matt and Diana have grown together as a couple through the most important parts of life, created a great relationship with a solid foundation for this wonderful journey ahead. They can not wait to continue their life together by saying I Do surrounded by loved ones in late June.
