"Love in the time COVID", most likely a cliché term these days but that's how the story started. Technically it started with a beautiful single mother, Heather, moving halfway across the country from Utah to Iowa to go to nursing school. Here is where the two should have had a meet-cute straight out of a movie but it was 2020 and people seldom first meet in person anymore, let alone during a pandemic. So like many young people do these days, they used an app. It was August 2020 right after Iowa was hit by a literal hurricane. Little did Matt know that this would not be the only time he would be blown away that month. Heather had been living in Iowa for several months at this point when she decided to take a chance and swipe right on this very handsome veterinarian. They hit it off and after talking for about a week decided it was worth the risk to meet in person for an official first date. It was no ordinary first date ladies and gentlemen, it was the most perfect first date either of them had ever had. Matt pulled out all of the stops with a homemade picnic by a lake at sunset followed by moonlit walk on the beach. It's no wonder they fell in love.
