It all started one fateful night in Amsterdam when Taylor found herself stuck at a train station after her train home was cancelled. Matt, the true extrovert he is, approached her as she seemed a bit distressed and offered to help. Like a knight in shining armour, he assisted her in finding an another train home, without asking for her number first.And the rest is history....Well, that’s not exactly how it went, but that is the story Matt told his family when he and Taylor first began dating.The truth is, Taylor and Matt matched on Hinge. Taylor replied to Matt’s “Two Truths and a Lie” prompt, which included the lie: “I love Taylor Swift.”As a devoted Swiftie, Taylor hoped that Matt's love for Taylor Swift was true. (Its a love story baby just say yes!) Unfortunately, it turned out to be the lie. Determined to change his opinion of Taylor Swift, she agreed to go on a date with him the following week.And the rest really is history!

Getting into London from Egham

While Uber are always convenient options, a more cost-effective way to travel into London is by train. The South Western Railway service from Egham Station to Waterloo provides a direct and efficient route, bringing you to central London in approximately 40 minutes.

Getting around london

The best way to get around London is by using the Tube (London’s metro system) or Uber. On all public transportation, you can tap in and out using Apple Pay or a bank card. It is also good to note that Google Maps tends to work better than Apple Maps in London. We recommend using Google Maps for walking directions and public transportation navigation throughout the city.

Where to stay

We recommend staying in the neighborhoods of Mayfair, Marylebone, Notting Hill, Westminster, or the South Bank. Whichever area you choose, make sure to research the neighborhood in advance to ensure it best suits your preferences and plans!
