Matt has felt a connection to Key West ever since his first family trip to the island over 14 years ago! The casual, free-spirited and relaxed vibe of the local culture and the spirit of the island really speaks to to the aesthetic of Matt & Wyatt as a couple. Growing up and often in and around many coastal areas in North Carolina along with South Carolina, Wyatt drew inspiration for a wedding planned in this environment based on the connection made when he and Matt met in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Please be aware that this is an adults-only wedding. Children of invited guests cannot be accommodated.

There is NOT a block of rooms at any hotel for the wedding. This is actually due to policies with hotels in the Key West area. The Casa Marina Resort - Curio by Hilton offers a Wedding/Social Rate using discount code "M6" when booked online at Hilton.com. Due to the volume of lodging offerings in the Key West area, there are numerous options to reserve a room or AirBNB, etc, especially given the small size of the island itself, transportation is easy and no hotel will be very far from the wedding location.

There is no right or wrong answer to your planned arrival -- but we can share at this time that the wedding ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 4, 2025. We recommend planning accordingly to arrive into Key West by early Friday morning. Most guests we have had feedback from so far state they will arrive on Thursday, April 3, 2024.

The wedding is of course in April in Key West, Florida. The grooms welcome guests to wear what they feel to be comfortable in warm weather with some humidity likely. Elegant, light weight but dressy spring attire is recommended, but jeans, shorts and flip-flops are not permitted. We again state the wedding is in the Florida Keys in early April and recommend checking the weather the week prior to the wedding date.

Casa Marina Resort has a contingency plan for the wedding and our guests should the weather be less than perfect and include rain. This will be a decision made by the resort staff and wedding planners and we asks guests to understand this could change.
