It all began in the spring of 2015 when Matti and Justin first met. She was a manager for Central High's varsity baseball team and Justin was a 3rd baseman and outfielder. They got to know each other for a few months and the connection was instant. On October 3rd, 2015, Justin asked Matti to be his girlfriend.

Throughout their time at Central, Justin never missed one of Matti’s soccer games, as she was a starter for the varsity team. Their love started there through city lunch dates and homecoming football games and only bloomed further.

In 2016, Justin graduated from Central (275) and decided to attend Temple University’s Fox School of Business to study risk management and insurance. Shortly thereafter, in 2017, Matti graduated (276) and began at Temple‘s College of Public health to study nursing. After 4 challenging years, both graduated from the university: Justin in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Matti in 2021 with a Bachelors degree in nursing. Today, Justin works as an Account Manager for RT Specialty and Matti is a Registered Nurse at the University of Pennsylvania.

Over the past 8 years, Matti and Justin have captured the hearts of each other’s families and have especially grown to love to travel together. What started out as small beach trips to the Jersey Shore turned into long getaways in Florida, Mexico and Walt Disney World. Their most notable trip to date however, was Montego Bay, Jamaica where Justin popped the question and Matti said yes on October 15, 2022. Since then, they’ve been celebrated by their families and friends on multiple occasions and continue to fall in love and make memories every single day. Wedding planning is in full swing and they can’t wait to celebrate with you all on November 24, 2024!
