Our Wedding

Guests must fly into Cancun to get to Isla Mujeres. If you plan to attend the Welcome Dinner on Saturday, April 11th your flight should arrive no later than 1:00 PM in order to be on time for dinner. Do not book a flight that lands to the Cancun Airport after 6:30 PM(the private boat will not be able to pick you up) Do not book a flight that departs the Cancun airport before 10:00 AM. (the private boat will not be able to take you on time)

Getting to Cancun

This is the shuttle service we will use to get from the airport to the Renaissance in Cancun and vice versa. You are welcome to use your own transportation if you'd like. However, this is a friend of ours and is wonderful to work with. His name is Manuel Martinez and does speak great english! Manuel does ask that you set up transportation times prior to arrive. Please do so by messaging through WhatsApp (make sure to use +52 at start of number) or Email him directly. If you do choose to use Manuel, this is a photo of us above so you know who to look for!

Almare Private Vessel Transfer To The Island

$629 Single or Double bed, single occupancy$699 Single or Double bed, double occupancy Please note, additional guest are $350. This would be the price for a third person joining a room. If you are going to need a room with two beds please reserve ASAP!! There are a limited number of rooms with double beds and they will need to note this at the time of booking. Reservations for this event will be made call-in by each individual guest. One nights room balance is due to hold the reservation. The total balance must be paid in full by February 10th, 2026 Almare Hotel will honor these special rates three days prior and/or three days after if guest attending wish to adjust their stay for additional time on the island. If you plan to attend our wedding please book your reservation with Almare Hotel ASAP. ***It has been brought to my attention other sites (example - hotels.com) appear to be a cheaper room rate prior to booking. This is not the case. Our rates do include taxes and fees. If you book though our block you will get the dicounted rate and it will be cheaper than an other option. Hotel & Travel

August 2023 I picked Chris up from the DFW airport and met him for the first time. We had chatted for month or so prior and agreed to a quick meet while he was in town for annual flight training. Turns out the “quick meet” wasn’t so quick. We closed the restaurant down! There was instant connection between us. Chris asked if he could see me again while he was in town (Inside I was screaming YESSSSSS!!!) We met up not one but two more times that week! He even extended his stay for a day and came out to what is now our house to meet all of our four legged babies. When we arrived at our house I still had to feed all of the horses that evening, Chris came out to help. I was talking away and he had zero response which if you know him is quite odd.&nbsp;I remember looking up at him and he was in shock, literally. Let’s just say he quickly learned what an electric fence was. After a wonderful first few dates it was time for him to go back to Nashville, TN. I remember dropping him off at the airport.. he looked at me, smiled, and said “I’ll be back!” From there we began traveling back and forth to see each other when we could. A few months later Chris planned a trip for us to go to the Smokey Mountains together. I remember our last night on that trip Chris and I sat in the hot tub for hours talking about any and everything. You name it.. we probably covered it. I learned so much about Chris and I began to fall in love with the man Chris is. Fast forward to April 2024. Chris and I took a trip to the island (Isla Mujures) for the first time together. We absolutely fell in love with everything about the island. The views, the people, culture.&nbsp;Isla was also a very pivotal moment in our relationship and has been close to our hearts from the beginning. In July of 2025 Chris planned the most beautiful proposal in one of our favorite spots on the island with the most beautiful view surrounded by wonderful friends to celebrate with us! We look forward to sharing this beautiful place that is so close to our hearts with each of you on our special day.
