Dan and I met while working in Dallas in 2021. We dated for a little over two years and during that time period, tried just about every burger joint in Dallas. On August 12, 2023, we decided to go out to Dan's land and use a metal detector to see if we could find any treasures. It was a HOT summer day and we had been at it for about an hour with no luck of finding anything. Dan recommended we try one more spot before giving up. To my surprise, we dug up a ring, with MY NAME ON IT! It was the best surprise and we shared the world's sweatiest hug! We cannot wait to get married and celebrate with all of our friends and family!
