Mattie & Alex met, like most millennials in last 10 years, on a dating app (shoutout bumble) a few months after Mattie moved up to Oregon from California. They quickly bonded over their shared interests of loving books, nerdy movies, and having similar outlooks on life.

When Alex suggested their first date be getting coffee and wandering around a bookstore, Mattie was certain this was the person for her. When she shared with her friends his date suggestion, she was answered with texts of "when's the wedding?".

Mattie & Alex like to say that they are the perfect fit for the other - Alex is logical and thinks things through, loves to research, good with numbers and money, and is not one to make a rash decision.

Mattie is emotion and vibes, loves to create and lets her feelings guide her decisions, and is awful with both numbers and money.

They love living in Portland, and hanging out at home with their cats, Merry & Pippin.
