We matched on Hinge in December of 2020. Our first date was at Mattie's townhouse and she wrapped Mike's Christmas gifts for his family, while watching 50 First Dates. Being together just came naturally, and there is no one either of us would rather spend our lives with. Mike's cancer diagnosis in 2024 added a layer of difficulty in planning, so we had a small wedding just the two of us at the courthouse in December of 2024 on our 4 year dating anniversary. We decided that once Mike felt better we would plan the "real" wedding, and here we are just a few months later with him kicking cancers butt and stronger than ever!
Our relationship has brought us so many friends and family members over the last 4 years and we are looking forward to celebrating our marriage with everyone!
Our beach wedding will be on the smaller side, but there will be space at our reception for people to stay a while or just swing by and say hello! We look forward to spending our day surrounded by people we love!
