Please plan to arrive 15 mins early (4:15)pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30.
Is the wedding ceremony and reception at the venue?
Yes. Both the ceremony and reception will be at Crystal Point Yacht Club. Cocktail hour and reception will immediately follow ceremony.
Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outdoors. The cocktail hour will primarily be held indoors with an outdoor patio and seating available. The reception will be held inside.
What is the dress code?
Formal or cocktail attire is recommended. We want you to look nice but be comfortable.
Men: Two-piece suits, dress shirts, blazers, dress shoes
Women: Mid-length dresses, long dresses, dressy jumpsuits or pantsuits.
Where should we stay on the wedding night?
The Crystal Point Inn is on site at our venue. We will be holding a room block which opens 6 months prior to the wedding on the first of the month. The wedding room block opens to book 6 months prior to the wedding date. We recommend staying onsite for the night of the wedding for convenience. There are also lots of beach destination options or AirBnBs nearby in Point Pleasant area for extended stays.
Are kids invited?
While we would love to have all of your little kiddos there with us, we believe that parents deserve a night out every once in a while! So plan to pay your sitter well, because you're going to be home late! Children who are invited will be immediate family only.
[Out of state / country guests] Is the Jersey Shore “as seen on TV”?
No!!! The Jersey Shore is a wonderful seaside state with easy access to NYC and Philly. Most of the Jersey shore is family oriented. Seaside heights and Wildwood are the 2 exceptions. We are nowhere near there!
[Out of state / country guests] Do you have recommendations in what to do for a long weekend?
Please reach out to the bride and groom for assistance / recos for planning. If you would like to ‘bundle’ with NYC, we recommend flying into Newark.
Point Pleasant is also a lovely beach / weekend destination.
