As Maury was moving back to Bismarck to start her Junior year of college at UMary, she sees a Facebook message from Talon. Talon decided to message her after becoming friends on Facebook a month or so prior. All Talon said was “Heyy, how are you?” And from then on the relationship started to grow. From calling and talking on the phone to eventually hanging out for the first time. There have been ups and downs as there is in any relationship and to get to where we are today is truly a blessing from God. Maury graduated college and moved to Beach into our first home. After living together for not quite a year, Talon popped the question. Maury’s heifer calved that morning of April 8th, 2024 and Talon’s plan that was formulating for a year finally was able to happen. That evening, Talon and Maury went out to tag Maury’s heifer calf. After she managed to tag the calf while talon was holding it down, Talon pulls out a tag that says “Will you marry me?” Maury could not believe what was happening until the ring came out and that is when “YES!” was said. Now, we cannot be more excited to get married and see what God has in store for us and our future.
