Our Wedding

Maureen and Collin first met online in 2019. They remained friends, until they finally decided to meet in 2020. They met exactly halfway between New Jersey and Missouri... Columbus, Ohio. They ended up staying in Ohio two more days than they had planned. (Probably because the corn statues were so amazing, or maybe they were starting to fall for each other...)

First Meeting

As sure as they were about each other, they were also sure of two things: Collin was not going to move to NJ and Maureen was not going to move to MO. They took a trip out to Arizona and Collin fell in love with the beautiful mountains, while Maureen became obsessed with bean and cheese burritos. Seeing a rainbow on their drive from Sedona to Phoenix was the final sign; this was their new home.

Moving to Arizona

Collin proposed to Maureen on December 22, 2022 at Robbins Butte Wildlife Area (where they would eventually move to a few months later). After a heart felt speech, the two danced to the world's most romantic song... Gasolina. Needless to say, she said, "Yes!" and they can't wait to celebrate their wedding with you soon! (More heartfelt speeches and Daddy Yankee to come!)

There is no airport in Sedona. The most economical option is likely to fly into Flagstaff Airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport or Phoenix-Mesa Airport (especially if coming from Springfield, MO look at Allegiant flights). Groome Transportation service is available to book transportation directly from the airport to Sedona (Click on Website link). Car rental services are also available at each airport.

There are so many beautiful hiking trails in Sedona. Bell Rock is super close to the venue and actually has a trail head on site! Red Rock National Park is a short drive and offers many beautiful hikes and some incredible scenery. The Airport Loop Trail is another scenic trail that we recommend to do at sunrise. Get an amazing overview of Sedona and the red rocks as the sun comes up.

Hiking!

Visit slide rock state park and experience an awesome nature made water park. The cool water feels amazing during the hot summers of Arizona and only a 30 minute drive from the venue makes this spot a great short trip!

Slide Rock State Park

Otherwise known as uptown Sedona, this includes fun shops and good food located in a scenic shopping area. This has a more intimate feel than West Sedona.

TLAQUEPAQUE Art & Shopping Village

The fun, touristy part of Sedona- an area that you HAVE to check out while here! There are a lot of spiritual stores here as well as galleries, souvenir shops, and restaurants.

West Sedona

Sedona is known for its "vortexes" or hot spots for meditation and healing. The four most popular vortexes are located at Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Airport Mesa and Boynton Canyon-Kachina.
