Will there be a hotel room block for the wedding?

Yes. Please view the Travel and Lodging tab for details. We will have a guest room block at the Hotel Ballast Wilmington Tapestry Collection by Hilton under the Riley/Pollard wedding. This is a holiday weekend in a very desired vacation destination, therefore the number of rooms we were able to hold are limited. There are many other beautiful options in historic downtown Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach from Airbnbs to traditional bed and breakfasts or inns to quaint home rentals. We recommend getting your accommodations squared away sooner rather than later to ensure you have a place to stay.

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Please RSVP by Sunday April 28th, 2024 so we can have an accurate head count for our venue and caterer.

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invite for your +1.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adult only reception. So enjoy 2 nights out without the responsibility and put your dancing shoes on! :) However, some guests are bringing their kiddos along for a family vacation and will have a sitter or grandparent coming along for the evening events. We would love to still be able to see them at the brunch on Monday!

Where should I park?

There is street parking as well as public parking lots available near the venue and also the brewery for the cocktail party the night before.

Is it ok to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes, for the reception only! Our hashtag is #hollardforpollard. We ask that you not have your phones out and please silence them for the ceremony.

Whom should I call with questions?

Maureen or Wes!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at 5pm. The ceremony begins at 5:30pm.

Will there be a shuttle?

Unfortunately with guests staying in a variety of hotels, air b and bs, home rentals, and inns, we decided it would be too difficult to provide a shuttle. We apologize! However, all the events for the weekend will be in downtown Wilmington and within a mile vicinity of each other. Depending on where you are staying you can most likely walk or take a short uber/lift ride. It also could be fun to take a trolley.
