Slea Head Drive

Picture of Slea Head Drive

The Slea head drive is a must when visiting dingle! It is a scenic route around the Dingle peninsula that takes about 3-4 hours (depending how often you stop!) with plenty of places to stop and take in the beautiful views! There are signs everywhere that start and end in Dingle so you don’t get lost! Definitely pack a picnic for this adventure as there are not many restaurants around to stop at!

A beautiful but long hike up the mountain for some great views of Ireland! This is the highest point in the Dingle Peninsula. There are a few routes up Mt. Brandon. The Saints’ Road is the quickest and easiest route that starts at the car park in Baile Breac and it’s marked along the way by large stone crosses. This hike can take a few hours so bring food, water and a rain coat!
