Please reach out to our planning team if you have

any additional wedding-related questions: contact@marriageandmimosas.com

What's the dress code?

For the wedding, we ask that guests wear formal, black-tie attire, if possible. For men, we'd prefer a tuxedo, but your nicest suit and tie will work. Ladies, floor-length gowns, please.

Should I wear a halloween costume?

While our special day is on Halloween, please keep the costume garb to a minimum. Now you don't have to stress over coming up with one; you're welcome.

Are there any events on Thursday, October 30th?

Sure are! We'll be having a welcome event the night before. Attire will be cocktail. More details to come.

Will there be any events on Saturday, November 1st?

There sure will be! It's the bride's mom's birthday, so we'll be keeping the celebrations going, starting with a brunch on Saturday morning. More details to come.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

We'll be making our online RSVPs available shortly. Once available, please indicate these on your RSVP. We can modify for all of our guests and will happily accommodate any dietary needs!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your invitation.

Are children invited to the wedding?

While you KNOW Maureen is obsessed with little ones, this one's for adults only. Mom and Dad get to enjoy a much-deserved night out!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?

All of the events on our wedding day will be inside at The Conrad!

What's the best way to RSVP?

Via our wedding website! We'll be making our online RSVPs available soon!

Does The Conrad Have Parking?

Yes, the Conrad offers valet parking for a fee. There is also pay-to-park street parking around the hotel and surrounding area.

What's the best way to get into DC?

We recommend flying into Reagan National Airport (DCA) or taking the train into the city via Washington Union Station, but check the getting to & staying in DC tab for additional options!

Will transportation be provided to the wedding venue?

Thankfully, all of our hotel blocks are very close to the wedding venue. Please walk to the venue or use Uber, Lyft, or taxi.

What will the weather be like in DC?

While all of the day's events will be inside, we're hoping for nice DC fall weather! The average temperature in October is between 50-70 degrees, so a shawl or light jacket should be perfectly fine for getting to and from the venue.
