Miami's iconic South Beach is a party hotspot and an art deco architecture lover's dream. If you've never visited Miami and you want to see it, try parking in a garage on Lincoln Rd (the address linked here is that garage) and walking east toward the ocean. there you'll hit the boardwalk where you can walk south until you hit South Pointe Park. There are innumerable bars and restaurants to enjoy but avoid eating on Ocean Drive as it's a huge tourist trap.
If you'd like to enjoy the beach with a little less traffic and crowds, Miami's Mid Beach is the place to go. We like to go on Collins Ave around the 70's or 80's wherever you can find public parking.
Midtown Miami is a thriving residential and shopping district in the heart of the city. There are lots of great restaurants and places to pick up anything you may have forgotten at shops like Target, Trader Joe's, Marshall's, etc.
Miami's warehouse artist district started out as a grungy, hip neighborhood where the artist community thrived. It has changed a lot over the years, but it's still a sight to see and has some of the best dining options in town. The graffiti art that adorns the walls throughout this community is not to be missed.
I like to call it Manhattan by the Sea and I don't think we have any New Yorkers coming to get offended lol. Brickell is Miami's financial district which has grown into a sprawling shopping, entertainment and residential spot for the young and fabulous. There's an amazing mall here and more nightclubs and posh restaurants than one could count.
