It only took a few dates for me to know that I was going to marry Sean. We had been friends for a couple of years before we started dating. I took a stab in the dark one day, started texting him, which quickly turned into playful flirting, and the rest was history.

Fast forward to today, and I am immeasurably grateful I found someone who loves me unconditionally, difficulties and all. A man who's puzzle piece fits with mine so perfectly. A man who not only accepts my love, but makes sure I always feel that love in return. He loves Jaxon like his own, which makes me love and respect Sean like no other.

I look back at the days when I thought I would end up a lonely dog-lady and smile, thinking "if only that girl knew how lucky she's about to become."
