It all started with a swipe... Like many modern love stories, ours began on a dating app. We matched, exchanged a few messages, and went on a couple of dates. The connection was real — we laughed easily, talked about everything, and felt something special starting to grow. But life had its own timing. Busy schedules, shifting priorities, and the usual twists of life got in the way. A year or so passed. Then, out of the blue, a simple message changed everything. Megan reached out — casually, just to say hello. Max was elated. It felt like no time had passed at all. The chemistry was still there, only now it came with a little more clarity, better life timing, and a lot more intention.From that moment, things just felt right. We rebuilt our connection with many late-night cribbage competitions (One of us winning more than the other), weekends at the lake, travel adventures to Mexico/Iceland/Ireland/Jamaica, and a growing sense that this time, it was meant to be. Now, here we are — preparing to say, “I do,” grateful for second chances, timing, and each other. Because sometimes love doesn’t give up. Sometimes, it just waits for the right moment.
