We could easily share a list of classic Minnesota tourist spots, but we thought it would be way more fun (and much more us) to give you a curated list of our favorite hidden gems and go-to spots around the area. These are the places, activities, and experiences that we love, and we can't wait to share them with you! These are the Max & Noelle favorites that will make your trip unforgettable.
Leo’s is where it all started for us—our first date! This charming spot in Stillwater, MN, is perfect for a diner meal and ice cream while enjoying views of the St. Croix River. Whether you're here for a bite to eat or just to enjoy the nostalgia, it's a must-visit!
One of our coffee shop favorites! This cozy Christian coffee shop in Roseville, MN, is the perfect spot to grab a delicious drink, unwind, and enjoy a relaxing outing.
If you are in town a little early, the Wabasha Street Caves is a great place to spend the evening! Every Thursday from 7 pm to 10 pm, you can enjoy live music for just $15 ($10 with a student ID). With a bar and jazzy atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for dancing and a fun night out.
Max and Noelle’s home church! We love attending services at Redemption, where the lead pastor, Drew, is absolutely incredible. If you’re in town through Sunday, we highly recommend checking it out. Services are at 8:45 am and 10:15 am.
Okay, fine, we had to give you a few classics. The Mall of America (or “The Mall,” as we like to call it). MOA is a great place to go if you want to shop, eat, ride roller coasters, visit the Sea Life Aquarium, or even try out an escape room. There's literally something for everyone, it's a total blast!
Another classic, but we think it's worth it! Minnehaha Falls is a must-see for nature lovers, featuring a stunning 53-foot waterfall and beautiful walking trails. The park offers peaceful spots to relax and take in the scenery, plus an on-site restaurant, Sea Salt Eatery, for a casual bite. It’s a perfect place to enjoy fresh air and some outdoor beauty, just minutes from downtown.
The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden features over 40 striking works of art, including the iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry. Set in a beautifully landscaped park, it’s a great place to explore unique sculptures, enjoy the outdoors, and take in the creativity of the city.
