Kylie LaBeau and Max Wicklund were born, made some memories, did some things. Both of them were fine, but honestly, not anything to write home about. Nothing up to this point matters too much.

Before April 13, 2020

Max and Kylie matched on Tinder. Max is adamant that he was not on Tinder for *that* reason. Kylie didn't respond for a couple of days, but that obviously didn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Kylie finally responded! Once they started talking, they were both very nervous. It shows.

They're "official"! It's uncertain if it was actually the 12th, but it was close. The 12th is the way both Kylie and Max are able to remember it (by looking at Lauren and Fletcher's anniversary posts).

Max and Kylie - homeowners! They signed the papers before work, but thankfully they got a great picture to commemorate the occasion.

August 11, 2023

Max and Kylie relax and spend a calm day together. They decide to have a picnic in Saugatuck on top of a dune. Max asked Kylie "you're sure you don't want to put a bra on?" That's when Kylie realized he was up to something. Equipped with food (and bra), they hiked up the back of the dune and emerged at the top, where Kylie realized how much energy it took (and how absorbent bras can really be). Kylie has no recollection of what Max said, but one second he said he needed to pee in some bushes, and the next, he was down on one knee with a ring in his hand.

Max and Kylie, after much deliberation, decided to get a kitten. They found a litter lovingly named after cheeses. Kylie wanted Meunster, Max wanted Asiago. They played with the kittens, and came to a compromise - They got both. Meunster became Elton, Asiago became Goose.
